I have a feeling that this is like the Disco Demolition Night of cars. They get blown up and abuse just for entertainment.

I knew people who would actively key, tire slash, and scratch civics because they were 'ricers' and unamerican. Thought it was worth teaching these guys a lesson in supporting an inferior country by buying a cheap econobox and pretending it's as good as an american car.

This, of course, was like 10 years ago.

We got in a 90's Civic sedan at the salvage yard that had been T-boned in the passenger's side.

The roof had torn away from the pillars and the floor had wrapped around and on top of the passenger's seat bottom.

Civics tend to have hard life.

I crash tested my 80's VW Polo on Sunday. I was rear ended on highway and found myself upside down from a ditch. I was really surprised to find myself unhurt. Now I have slightly sore neck but otherwise I'm all right. My poor Polo wasn't so lucky as there isn't much to save.

I was lucky but I seriously don't recommend crashing with a 80's Polo.
